This video from Dr. Patrick Goh (University of Hawai'i, Mānoa) talks about why ADHD is underdiagnosed in Asian American Communities. He mentions multiple reasons as to why this is the case. Some of these reasons include: fear of how one is viewed, fear of being seen as a burden, lack of parental understanding or support, and cultural reasons.

I think this is a good video because it lays out the factors as to why ADHD is missed within Asian communities. Dr. Goh explains everything very clearly, also touching on the model minority myth that I posted another article about. It's not that there is a lack of Asians with ADHD, but more that there is a lack of acceptance for ADHD.
