Challenging the Model Minority Myth

Despite being a few years old and not directly touching on learning differences, it speaks to the stereotype that all Asian Americans go on to pursue a higher education or succeed in school like their teachers expect them to. Many Asians do not "fit the mold" by not attending highly selective institutions or even college at all.

The article also mentions the divide between different types of Asians. This can be due to economic situations, geographic location, or other circumstances. I think the article provides a unique perspective that some Asian Americans face.
